My signature "Introverre" series of work is an exploration and celebration of what can be done with intricate designs on the interior of blown glass forms. Extensive carving (after the piece has cooled from being blown at the furnace) enhances the sculptural aspects of these pieces and allows for a better view inside as well as revealing the line-work patterns and designs happening underneath. Lastly, more carving work on the exterior lends the piece a uniquely enhanced surface.
