Brought out of 'retirement', this is one of the last remaining pieces in my "Textile" series of blown glass pieces, which I currently no longer produce. The design motivation was to experiment with what could be done with multiple layers of line work (made out of twisted and stretched colored glass lines) to mimic an 'orderly tangle' of strands of fabric, accentuating the depth of layering in the wall-thickness of the piece.
